Special experiences on our farm

Why do eggs have different colours and sizes? Does every chicken lay an egg every day? All your questions will be answered here at the Großplonerhof. In the morning, the chickens are let out into the open and brought into the barn in the evening. During the day you can also look for eggs in the nests on your own. Who will find the most?

Early risers take note! The day begins at 5:10 a.m. at the Großplonerhof. Our cows are milked twice a day. Those who prefer to sleep late can also watch the milking live in the evening at 5:10 pm. How many litres does each cow give? How does the fresh, still warm milk taste? Take a look!

Mmmmhhh ... preparing delicious meals with fresh ingredients from our garden, that sounds delicious! Whether it's lettuce, onions, fresh herbs, tomatoes or, with a bit of luck, even raspberries and strawberries, there's something for everyone in our garden.

Pssssttt … We have to be very quiet so that we don't disturb the mother cat and her kittens. With a bit of luck, you will be able to watch the kittens grow up and play with them in the summer. The whole cat family also loves to be petted.

Street lamps, cars, skyscrapers. All this drowns out the light of the stars in the cities. Here at the Grossplonerhof with us, however, the glow of the stars can still be seen quite clearly. We will gladly prepare a blanket and a cup of tea for you, so that you can watch the beautiful celestial bodies together with your loved ones. If you look closely, you can even spot shooting stars.

Have you always wanted to sleep in the hay like Heidi? We'll be happy to prepare everything for you. It is definitely worth the experience! Maybe even a cat will lie down with you.

Once a week, Elisabeth invites you and your family to make and eat dumplings. You can shape the dumplings yourself and then taste them. Bacon dumplings, spinach dumplings or cheese dumplings, let yourself be surprised. Mmmhhh how that smells!
